Sarah Is In Our Thoughts...

I could think of no better forum to put this in than right here...The Lake Tanganyikan Forum.

Our very own dear friend Sarah (longstocking) is under going surgery this morning. As many people know, Sarah has been living with awful pain for almost the past year. The pain has not only made her life uncomfortable, but it has made daily chores a nightmare.
Sarah is having disc-replacement surgery in her neck. She has explained the surgery to me and the hopeful outcome...to reduce the pain in her neck and arms, and regain the strength that she has been losing in her arms.
Sarah hand-picked a neuro-surgeon in Maryland who has done 250 of these surgeries. The surgery will be to replace two discs, use a titanium screw to hold them in place and hope that she starts to have a love for Mbuna...well the last is just a wish.

Please keep Sarah in your thoughts and prayers.

WOW so that's what all the back pain was about...

Hopefully it will be a successful surgery as well as a successful healing....

This country has fantastic neuro-surgeons and I'm sure she is in very good hands. A very close relative of mine had brain surgery performed three times all completed successfully by the same doctor...
