Spectrum Brands filed for bankruptcy protection. They own a whole bunch of pet and specifically aquatic supply brands and companies including:

Tetra Holding
Perfecto Mfg.
Aquaria, Inc.
Spectrum Neptune U.S.
Aquarium Systems, Inc.
United Pet Group.

Another good company having trouble staying afloat. :grhair::grhair:

That chart looks like my 401k statement. down down down. its bad for the big companies as well as little small businesses in this country.:grhair:

They are in Chapter 11 which means they are hoping to reorganize and then come out of bankruptcy and resume "normal" operations.
