Has anyone used this to feed there algae eating tangs? Is it good for them?
Is there a down side to using it?

I tried the nori sheets and my fish didn't care for them. I believe they are better for saltwater tangs. A spirulina flake or pellet would be better for your fish.

There are a couple of kinds of nori: a baked one and a raw one. You want the raw one (with no seasoning, of course)...

I had luck with mbuna eating it but not other fish. Maybe some garlic on it would help...

Garlic and or Paprika....

I have tried it as well and my Tophs/ Petros etc did not like it. But , I didn't try my spice rack either as it 5+ years ago

I would think they would take to it with those two spices though....

The thing is that a lot of veggie flake is primarily fish meal...and not veggie / spirulina...

Romaine lettuce is something that a lot of my fish will devoure (and 100% veggie)...

I've got some nori in my food storage area...need to give it a try again...
