For everyone's information - New Jersey's own world famous aquarist, collector, breeder and one of the most knowledgable people in the hobby, Rosario LaCorte, is in the hospital.
He apparently suffered a heart attack last week and had a stress test that show he had damage. He is undergoing evaluation to determine if he needs a stent or bypass surgery.
Please keep him in your thoughts and let's hope for a speedy recovery for this giant of our hobby.

Update from NJAS:
I just spoke with Jeannie LaCorte. The doctors have advised her that all went well during the triple bypass surgery. Rosario is still out from the anesthesia, and in intensive care. Current plans call for him to remain in intensive care thought Thursday. He can have no calls and only very limited family visits.
I will keep you posted.

Another update:
I spoke to Rosario earlier this evening; he is at home. He sounded great. I visited him in the hospital yesterday and he looked great and sounded better. I am always amazed by is memory; nothing has changed.
They are still working on regulating his heart rate, but at home.
He is looking forward to being able to change his own water.
