Just drove home from work on unplowed parkways. REAL NASTY !!!!!!!!(especially in a miata which tends to drive sideways when you step on the gas :grhair:)

So how many are lucky not to be working today? My crappy work made us come into Center City Philly! Second storm started 30 minutes ago after a few hours of sleet! Since I didn't do too much yesterday in the fishroom I was hoping today I would.

I am out on the island and just got to work. I will be the only one here today. Had to dig through a 5ft snow drift to get in the door. we got about 12inch and it snowing hard.

Got lucky in Clifton, NJ. Only 2 inches on the ground from last night. Another inch this morning since I shoveled. Other places in Jersey got 8 - 12 inches. I hate winter. Where is spring?

I like winter. I would rather shovel a couple times than do landscaping every week! :)

Amen! no hayfever, no lawn to mow, no mulch to spread, no pool to vacuum:colrface:

In Connecticut we got what most of you guys got anywhere from 10" to a foot or so. I live in cow country but work in Hartford- in this weather up to a two hour commute sharing the road with lowered Hondas with fart can exhausts and bald tires. I give them credit though, those front wheel drive ricers all have rear spoilers- must be for the added downforce= traction ha ha. I stayed home and used a personal day. Hartford doesnt plow well, the residents dont drive well (correctly) on a dry day. Better off home.

Doing some water changes, reading about what a great time ("Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure") I missed at Atlantis and already deciding to make the trek next time you guys go

I work from home...so no drive in. Gotta go and shovel in a bit. Got the kids at home since school is cancelled.

We got over a foot of snow here in Long Branch, NJ, drifting up to 2ft in some spots on the property...HIGHLY unexpected since the last big storm we had in my area was over 5 years ago, and I live close enough to the Ocean to hear the waves crashing...

What about you guys? How much snow did all of you end up with in your area?
