I have to say my c afra red top battled my mbenji and won dominance... His colors are strong and really something...
on the other hand my mbenji his colors are so interesting ... constantly looks different depending on where the light hits him and i guess his mood... I hope this is normal..
I am still a newbie as many of you know after seeing my indecisive decision making on saturday...
I will try to get some good pics and vid soon...

Artie no problem just have to fatten them up first. The females are really skinny!!!

my female mbenji are also really thin... whats the best approach to fattening them up... ?
should i try feeding the tank a lot (more small feedings ) or just do the norm and eventually they will fatten up on their own

feed them slow and not to much or they will get bloat

I am really liking these fish. The red tail is really nice and the males are getting nicer each day.
The other I keep are Pseudotropheus elongatus oranatus.

Ed,
we can meet up this weekend. I have them in a breeder box, because they were going after the fish from Atlantis.
