Ok, so you are new to EastCoastCichlids.org...Welcome!
EastCoastCichlids.org is a not-for-profit forum/website created back in 2008.
Our goal is to make sure that you, the hobbyist, are taken care of.
Every month we try to make sure that there is something going on. Road Trips, Group Buys, Our OWN Auctions (The biggest Cichlid Auctions on the East Coast), barbecues, and giveaways.
Our sponsors will take care of you with great discounts. Any time you want to buy from one of our sponsors just make sure that you tell them that you are an EastCoastCichlids.org member (or ECC) and ask what type of discount they give ECC Members.
Our Road Trips are legendary. We have visited facilities as far north as upstate NY and clubs as far south as Maryland. Many of us met up at the 2010 Catfish Convention in Virginia, and we will be back for their 2012 Convention. Many of us also hung out together at the '09 ACA Convention in Cincinnati, the '10 Convention in Milwaukee and we piled ECC members into the greatest ACA Convention of all-time---the 2011 CCA Does ACA in Washington DC!
In December we have the largest fish forum giveaway with December to Remember.
In January we are running a Road Trip to Peter Rubin's Atlantis. Many of us will meet up at breakfast about an hour before time and then drive in a convoy to the facility.
Our Forum is just loaded with things to do.
On the Home Page there is an Index of items.

When you navigate thru out forum please check out the Home Page.
On the left hand column there are "Affiliates". These are stores, both brick and mortar and online, that give back to ECC with each purchase...anywhere from 2-8% per sale.
