Fluval 06 Canister Filters

Has anyone seen the new 06 series canister filters made by fluval? They are supposed to be even quieter than the 05s. Saw them for sale on eBay.

Saw them as coming soon on the back page of the last That Pet Place catalog. Haven't seen any yet though. Hopefully they are using better plastic on the impeller cap so the clips don't crack when you take it off.

looks very promising, new impeller design, new handle, 10% increase in efficiency, more quiet... hope this is all true and not just for better advertisement.

I'm still running a 302 that I picked up in the 90s... and a couple of 404s picked up on ebay and one 405. I love the new Fluval M heaters, and now have 7 AC HOBs running.

So, no I haven't seen the 06's yet, but the Hagen design team hasn't been slacking off lately. Even the Fluval blog hasn't picked up on the 06 series yet, and no user reviews have been posted on the normal websites.

So Joe- buy one, and let us know! :typing:
