this will be my first time attending an ECC auction and was wondering what else I need to know. Is it basically I pay $2 so that I can bid and that's all? thanks

Are you going as a Buyer, Seller or potentially BOTH?
If you are going there as a Buyer then all you have to do is pay $2 for a bidder card. Make sure you bring money for food and vendors, as YourFishStuff.com and SouthCentralCichlids.com will both be there.
If you donate to the auction or pre-register to sell items then you will receive your bidder card for Free.

The bidding will begin at 11 AM. I suggest you get there a bit earlier and enjoy a very tasty, affordable, cooked to order breakfast.

Once the bidding begins it will continue until the very last lot has been won by a happy bidder. My best guess is it'll be around 5 PM.

It's a long but very enjoyable day.
