noticed on one of my guys and he and others have been rubbing more than usual. This would be my first time dealing with Ick so I want to be sure. As you can see this first pic you would say yes but another angle its little difficult to see. I only have 1 other tank but I currently have fry in there. Any suggestions would be helpful. He's the only that I noticed spots on many other fish are rubbing, not constant but more than usual. thanks

Looking at the last picture on photobucket, it appears to be ich. Numerous ways to treat it, raise tank temperature and add salt or use a medication such as rid ich, aquarisol, quick cure, etc.. Kind of unusual to have ich in the summertime.

I agree with Joe, Last pic does look like Ick. Ick is caused by stress also. Might want to watch to see if he is getting harrassed in the tank. If so you may need to isolate him for it to go away. Another possible way is to put more hidding spots in your tank.

Heat & Salt. I have had the temp as high as 92, & Salt at 1.006 spec grav. Also water changes with gravel vac help. Reduces stress and removes some of the parasites. I kept the Salt & Heat like that for two weeks and it was completely knocked out.

if you are using ich/ick medication in the tank, I always under-dose. Raise the temp and give half to 3/4 recommended doses of the meds. I've wiped out an entire tank. Also when using the ick medication, you must do the 25%-35% water change every 2 days. It works fast though. Looks like very early stages of ick too so the fish should be alright.
