Does anyone frequently test their tap water?
or does it stay pretty constant?

I do every month or so. Mine has changed before.

Unless your water company switches its water source, the water parameters remain fairly constant. The only thing that might change is the amount of chlorine or chloramine that is added to treat the source water. More of these chemicals are added in the warmer months when water levels are low.

I don't usually. Once in a while I will test to be sure but every time for the past two years my tap water has a ph between 5-6, very soft, and 2ppm of phosphates...
Besides, don't the water companies have to mail out water reports whenever they make chemical changes?

Our water Co. sends out reports. Not saying their exact, but the state mandates it , so they may be close.:bandit:
