All my mbuna breed constantly (except the zebras who are all female) and the Synodontis Multipunctatus along with them as often as possible. I have two pairs of Caudopunctatus with fry at this time. Waiting for everyone else to grow up!

Not much these days.
Only have a pair of Pelvicachromis subocellatus with young.
Not much these days.
Is that a conscious decision? Or one the fish have made for you?

Pete,
I'm trying a few uncommon species and they are not cooperating. Of course if I kept up with tank maintenance it might help.
Aulonocara ethelwynnae F0
Tomocichla asfraci
Crenicichla wallaci F0
Paretroplus menarambo
Triglachromis otostigma F0
Pelvicachromis signatus F0
L260 F0
L134 F0(How many times have they spawned for you?)

I suspected it might be that :D
L134 F0(How many times have they spawned for you?)
Four or five. I think they're maybe too big for the caves I have with them though, otherwise I don't know why they'd stop as nothing has changed about their feeding / maintenance.

Currently I have the following fish/fry:
Apisto. acrensis
Apisto. baenschi
Apisto. borelli
Apisto. iniridae
Laetacara dorsigera
Nanochromis teugelsi
I am working with A. macmasteri, Neolamprologus signatus, and Nannacara adoketa. The last two are giving me a LOT of grey hair!
I am seriously looking for/in need of Nanochromis nudiceps males. Have two beautiful females. Anyone for a swap, one for one?
Growing out the following: Apisto. juruensis, Apisto. norberti-(thanks to Chris M.), Biotodoma cupido, Cleithracara maronii. And thanks to Wally, another hundred Guianacara sphenozona.

I have the I. adoketa as well as the gray hair to go with them. Stunning fish. One day they act like they are interested the next day they are all in their individual caves. So far, even with 6 of them, there is no aggression.
I have a few stray apisto cacs in the tank with them that are spawning. I thought maybe that would give them the hint but no such luck. A friend of mine also has them and has suggested it may be a matter of maturity rather than size.
There are only two people I know of so far that have had them spawn and I don't think but more than once. Not an easy one for sure but mine aren't that old yet. I got them as tiny young this past summer.

Well, there's a story about those adoketa. Eric Bodrock is my boyfriend. He's the cory man. And here's the saga of those adoketa.
We were invited to England last year for their catfish convention. While we were there, one of the vendors happened to have a sculpture of I. adoketa(sorry, I had the old name). My jaw dropped, I had seen them in books but not anywhere else. This was a fish I always wanted. And of course I had to ask, "Where can we find some of those for sale?" When Mark Breeze offered an apology and replied that he had just sold the last of what he had to a "guy from Norway" my heart fell. Well, I don't know if anyone here knows who Mark Breeze is, but he is a first class, first rate fish keeper. Mark made a call to the gentleman who had bought the fish. He agreed to sell some of the adoketa to "the American girl". So, to make a long story short (sort of), two young trio's made their way across the Atlantic with us.
Of course we didn't want to keep all of our eggs in one basket, so to speak. Eric and I split them up. Within a month, my trio spawned. I was soooo excited! Out came the extra female. And the next day my female ate the eggs. And she continues to do that to this day. Anyways, Eric lost his females to the overly ardent male. I gave him my extra female. And the rest is history. My girl just loves to eat her eggs. And Eric's male spends alot of time looking at himself in a mirror. People that don't keep fish just don't know what they're missing!

Only a fishhead could find the beauty in such a sad and frustrating tale . Stay with your positive additude.

Well it looks as though my frustration has only begun....lol. We are coming out for the auction in April I believe and kurt said something about coming a day early so we can visit some fishrooms. I hope I can get the chance to pick your and Eric's brain on these. He did say they are even more beautiful after they have spawned.
Actually Eric is shipping me some cool fish tomorrow. I was babysitting a pair fo Kurt and got rather attached and decided I needed some for myself. It's ad addiction to which there is no cure. I have a bad feeling the fishroom is going to double in size!
