new tank

some thing diffrent 100cm x 100cm square 75cm high maybe a pleco tank not sure yet and trying a sump for the first time.

Interesting, about the sump, shouldn't the pads be above the water line? That way they filter the water as it flows through them. Not sure hw effective they are under the water line.

Either way it looks like the water has to pass through them either way to get returned back to the tank. I'd think so too though that it may work more efficiently if the water was trickled on top of the pads instead of just flowing through them...
