Anyone know where I can find these locally? Seems that 9/16 isn't something that's in stock in the obvious places (including the Big Orange Box).

Anyone?

furgason's may carry it ,you also might try ace hardware,or any local plumbing supply house

Did you find some?

If not, are you talking about all nylon or the ones with the nylon insert (we call 'em nylocks) I've got 1/2 & 5/8 UNCs--sorry no 9/16--316SS/nylon.

Could put them in box going to Bill's house if you still need 'em.

The metal ones with the nylon insert. It's def. 9/16 across the flats I'm looking for but very much appreciate the offer.

Pete,
A nut is called out by it's thread size, not by what it measures across. A nut 9/16" across would be a 5/16-18 unc nut or could be a 3/8-16 unc nut. I don't have 1 here in front of me to be for sure.

Just google 9/16" nylon lock nuts. Plenty of suppliers out there.

I'm not sending the box until wed. or so....if the nuts are smaller sized--I can get you a handful.

I've tried those two sizes, it's in between - but thanks for the offer.
