I'll make it brief.
I bought a trio of Mbita Fucifers and put them in my 130 about 3 weeks ago. Last night I did a 60% water change and vacuumed all the gravel. I noticed that 1 of what I thought was a female started digging a pit. I said what the $#@!. The fish are 4" and sexable but I still thought that I got a reverse trio. I woke in the morning and found them going in circles doin the breeding dance in the pit. I said to myself that maybe they are fighting for dominance. I came home from work and the female had a mouth full. My question is, has anyone ever seen a female feather fin dig a pit instead of the male?
