Hi Everyone,
New to the site, somehow got linked here from another forums.
It doesnt seem too active here, but I'll give it a shot since its local.
Im new to the hobby, and waiting for my tank to cycle... which is taking forever... and is super frustrating....
Trying to get some mulm, substrate.. anything from a established tank. But no luck.

Hey Kidd, welcome.
Not active?
Stick around and watch.
I see that you have been trying to get help over at NYSicklads.
Listen, go find someone with a sponge insert to one of their filters or a dirty sponge filter that they are using. Get it, put it into your tank and add fish.
Period.
No cycling.
No Biocrapola.
I have never cycled a tank...never.

Welcome. This is a very active site. Wait until work is over.
Ask JerrythePlater and Joe Jaskot about mulm. They are the experts!

Welcome aboard Lost. Not many posts! So 5,500 isn't enough in our 1st 2.5 months?
You've been hanging at Sickloads too long. It's about time you came over to the darkside. :1devil:

Welcome to the site.
Do as Fischfan says...it works.
Hopefully you know someone with a tank.
Good Luck!

Welcome to the show. If you are really desparate for an ammonia cycle you just pee in the tank that would get it started. HA-HA. If there are no fish in the tank it would work I think. Just clean it with a toilet brush before do stick fish or your hands in there.
