Starting to look very good! The largest is developing some spectacular finnage. Sadly, I still fail when it comes to capturing the gorgeous iridescent blue on the flanks. :(

Good looking fish and pix. I don't know much about SA cichlids. Do the Geophagus need a cool water cycle like the Gymnogeophagus? What other SA's require the cool water winter cycle?

That would depend on the species. There are those that live in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. I would guess it would be the
species that live in the southern part of the continent . I'll bet there are a few .

Wow. Those are some awesome Geophagus Winemilleri fish there and great pixs too and you must be really proud of them though I don’t know much about them!! I am planning to look them up in the web and if available, wouldn’t mind buying a couple for my collection too!!
