I like fishing and gardening. I really enjoy they freedom when I am out on the water and the joy of growing things. Also birds. I have feeders in the yard and watch often as I can. Keep track of all the birds I see. I really had no idea how many different ones I had around here till I paid attention.

besides fish, I was a car nut for 20 plus years and had multiple sports cars the best 2 being a 73 trans am with a 455 that I raced at atco and owned for 20 years. Also a 300zx turbo and sadly I sold them both years ago to get $ for a house. Lately since I don't want to throw a ton of money into real cars again I got back in to the slot cars I had as a kid and play the drums, follow baseball, football when philly has a team that shows up.

WOW we have the same taste in cars, or at least close. I had a 79 T/A with a 403 and w6 handling pac. Also have had a 75 260z, 79 280zx, and a 81 280zx that I raced SCCA hill climes with. Had a 75 Chevy Monza with a boared and stroked SB that I ran at Atco Maple Grove (home track) and E-town. All of the above cars have done time on Front st too

Hey a PA. guy and a fellow car nut with the same cars. Who'da thunk it. Here's a couple pics of the trans am and unfortunately I am in 1 of the pics circa 1976.

The sadder part is that I went out with plenty of hot women looking like that. Now I look close to normal and I get the dregs:) Even worse, I had that mike schmidt stache until 7 years ago.

Well, pre-baby(s) and school it I would have said fishing, camping, art (drawing mostly), listening to live (never cover!) bands, collecting music, reading, tennis (when I could find someone to play with), crocheting occasionally, and good coffee.

Now, (if time invested counts) I would have to say laundry, studying, driving, and taking care of the little ones. So, at present the only hobby I have that's not part of necessity is....Fish! Kinda sad really, but that's the way it is for now....

There's light at the end of the tunnel, Tamara! Even tho our baby (@ 20 years old) moved back in with us so she could focus on school (can't say YEAH!!!!! loud enough), it does eventually get easier. I was actually out of even the fish hobby for about 15 years while doing " laundry, studying, driving, and taking care of the little ones......" Now I'm able to be back in it-----with a vengance! :) I still groove on gardening {edible & viewing types}, music, sci-fi/fantasy reading & book collecting--in fact I have so many hobbies and still so little time to spend on them, I'd like to slap the hell outta those people who say they'd be bored if they retired from work.

One of my fav hobbies is taking stuff that's supposed to be used for this & figuring out a way to use it for something totally different. Can't wait til it warms up again--I've got this 80 gallon bathtub sitting out in the back yard and I'm dying to figure out a way to set it up as a low-maint grow-out tank.....:dopey:

I bounce from Hobby to hobby always to return...

In the lasy ten years I have been into Squished pennies, Tropical fish and lately into Wheresgeorge.
WWW.wheresgeorge.com is a currency tracking websight. Its one of those hobbys that don't cost much money because your already going to spend the money anyhow might as well see if it ever shows back up.

Vegetable Gardening. I love garlic. I've been growing the same variety since I was given it in 1986 or so.

I now have some carnivorous plants and I am thinking of making a bog for them one of these days. Venus Fly Traps, Sarracenia pitcher plants, sundews, Utricularia gibba.

Cactus and Succulents. I like the small easily flowering types, but also some of the really slow growing Mexican types- Pelecyphora and Turbinocarpus for example. I just have to keep the mice or squirrels from eating and damaging them. My only consolation is that some of the plants have alkaloids in them that might kill the eater.

I was always a Jap bike rider (yeah, I took a lot of %$#@ because I look like I should be on a Harley Ha!) but that is one sweet looking resto! Love the front-end suspension!

Funny thing is even though its not a Harley, the Harley guys like it. I keep hearing "as long as its not a rice burner"

I did a lot of cleaning to get it to that point. Tune up, took the 25 year old leaded gas out and rebuilt carbs. But no Restoration needed. Original paint and chrome. Some still looks rough but I will keep original as long as I can.
Rough riding old thing. I don't put too many miles on it. After not running for all those years I don't go too far from home.
