While on the subject of road trips. Us Pa folks would like to know if there are any interesting fish room and shops out your way.

We don't know anyone in the area so do not know where the in places are. We had a new member join our Lancaster club that says he has a breeding facility in Jersey along with one in Reading where he is breeding some unique angelfish and discus. You guys probably know him...John Burns I think was the name. I don't know if he allows tours but I imagine he would.

Anyway...what's out your way...anything interesting???

There is not one retailer in the Southern half of NJ that I like...some of them feel the same about me, LOL.
Tommy and I have talked about this and we have a few ideas.
Of the people/places that we have talked about they are all in the Northern part of NJ. I would say that we might pull off a NJ Road Trip this Summer.

Well there is the Camden Aquarium...that's all I know of...though that Aquarium is NOT NEARLY as impressive as the Baltimore Aquarium...

NJAS is putting together a pet shop run some time in March. I believe they will at least hit these stores:

Absolutely Fish (Clifton)
Kazimir's(Hackensack)
Shark Aq.(Union)
Pet Shanty(Scotch Plains)
Adam's Pet Safari(Chester)

These are shops that donate to the society on a regular basis. Members of the club usually receive a 10-15% discount on certain livestock/dry goods.

I would like to put together an ECC fall road trip to very north Jersey that will include John Williams and Tony Orso.

Absolutely Fish is 5 miles from my work and my 2nd favorite LFS. Pet Shanty is 45 minutes drive from my home and is my 1st favorite LFS. FWIW.
