OK, a couple people have asked what information to put on your bags. This will usually help you, the seller, make more on your bags and help the buyer with any questions they may have. Here is an example of one of my labels. I have tried many labels and these work best for me. Use thick paper, it makes things much easier. I did these in Word.
I personally put this information... you can change it how ever you want. But, keep in mind... too much info will take away from the fish in the bag and maybe put the buyer off.
I put a picture of the fish.
"Sarah's Cichlids"
Scientific name of fish.
Habitat and or type of breeder (Mouthbrooder, rockdweller etc)
Size
PH, KH, GH
Contact info ( I put my email... but a user name might be more helpful to some of you)
Here is an example...

yup... as you can see I usually don't put the number on the lables as I make them the day before. Once they are all caught and bagged... the number goes on last. That way, if you can't catch one LOLOL your label is still correct.

A bump to allow everyone to see one of the better labeled bags at an auction. Definitely helps the seller...

Great looking labels.
At our auctions the seller is required to put the species name, number of fish in the bag, their name, and phone number. Many sellers also include an email address and picture of the adult fish.
Having a picture of the adult fish goes a long way towards selling a bag of young fish.
One thing I would suggest is slipping the label inside a sealed pouch in between the bags. Water can make ink run and can ruin the labels before long. If you make your label business card size the small card protectors that are used for baseball cards or trading cards work really well.

Silly me.
I thought that after everyone labeled their bags correctly for the Spring they would have done it for the Fall.

Will is correct. New members are joining daily and will need to be informed. Even some seasoned veterans could use a refresher.

What I meant is we plaster the rule all over the forums the week or two before the auction.

Nope.
Must have a label on it.
It can be hand-written (NEATLY) with all of the info on it.
E) Each bag must be labeled with the following information: Species of Fish, Number of Fish, and users ECC Screen Name and/or email address. As an option a picture can be added to the bag as well.

Is there a printable label available? The one from The Sticky only came up as a box in word. Does it have to be a label or can you write on the bag. I'm asking because one of the fish I got at the last auction the bag was just written on with a marker. I never did find out where that Male Lethrinops albus was from.... I just want to weigh my options in case I cant come up with something as a far as a label.
I dont know if whats opening in MS Word is just opening wrong on my end.

Word document is fine for labels. Fill it out and tape it to the bag. Be sure to completely cover the label with clear tape and you'll be good to go. I use the same approach with my labels.
