G'day,

I have just joined ECC and look forward to participating in the forums.

I will be on holidays in Boston ( Wellesley ) for two weeks from 22 November and I would love to catch up with some fellow Ciclid keepers while I'm there.

I keep american cichlids: Thorichtys Meeki and Ellioti, Aquidens Rivulatis, Geophagus Orange Head Rio Tapajos, Apistogramma Baenschi and Acarichthys heckelii.

Bostonians, if you keep americans and have time for a beer and a chat please let me know.

Cheers,

Peter

Also, how about catching a Bruins (hockey) game and/or a Celtics (basketball) game.
Maybe drive out to Cape Cod?

How about...

Hi Peter:

:welcome:

If you have any pictures of your fish / tanks, feel free to post them :)

I love Boston, and spend time there every year, right before Christmas. You will have a ball.

There are also some wonderful museums in Boston: the natural history, art and science ones are all great.

One restaurant I would surely recommend for you is the Chart House, as yes, the food is very good...and the building itself is amazing! Here is a little write up:

An incredible landmark location on Boston’s Long Wharf, Chart House is situated in the Gardiner Building – the restored 18th-century offices of American Patriot John Hancock. Combine the extraordinary setting with outstanding cuisine & it’s not hard to see why the restaurant is a longtime favorite.

Have fun and I hope you hook up with some fellow fish keepers!
