I have to bring home made dessert tomorrow, what would surprise and delight when served? One pumpkin pie w/whipped cream of course, but something else? My sister always makes cheescake (and very well) so not that.

My wife made a cheesecake for Thanksgiving. She makes the best cheesecake that I have ever had, but she does not give out her recipe.

If I search thru the computer I have a recipe for Chocolate Glob cookies. These are the best cookies that I have ever had. Interested?

Ok, here is the cookie recipe...

Chocolate Glob Cookies

10 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
6 oz. unsweetened chocolate
12 tbls. Unsalted butter (1 ½ sticks)
2/3 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
4 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
2 tbls. instant coffee
1 ½ cups sugar
1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
2/3 cups pecans (finely chopped)
2/3 cups walnuts (finely chopped)
¾ cup white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325˚
Place parchment paper on greased baking sheet.
Melt 10 oz. of chocolate, 6 oz. unsweetened bakers chocolate and butter in microwave until melted. Put dry ingredients in a bowl without the sugar. Using a mixer, mix eggs, vanilla and coffee. Mix sugar until well incorporated. Mix in sugar until thickened. Pour in chocolate mixture into wet mixture for a minute. Add dry mixture until blended. Do NOT over blend, about 10 seconds is good. Fold in the remaining chocolate chips and nuts. Set two inches apart and bake for thirteen minutes. Check them after 11 minutes. After done remove from cookie sheet.

That looks yummy, more candy and nuts than cookie! I settled on a dark chocolate tart with gingersnap crust.
