I rearranged the tank to provide a better background for photos. The pair is breeding, bold and beautiful. When they are in this state of mind they are easily manipulated into position for photos. Awesome colors.

Beautiful shots! You take such fantastic photos...

By the way I saw on your website photos of Etroplus surantensis. I'm actually looking to keep these one day, or a close but smaller relative of theirs Etroplus maculatus. Is there any info or comments on them you could lend to me?

I haven't had them in years. As I recall they were very easy to care for in the aquarium. Like all my fish I made sure to vary their diet.

I did. He was a great guy and a good friend. I wasn't aware of the auction.
