Acei feeding

is it okay for Acei to eat frozen brine shrimp once a week? i like to feed some frozen brine shrimp to my main tank once a week but the acei are in there........

I usually feed frozen brine shrimp once a week, 2 cubes in the 75g, i would thaw them out first under warm water in a brine shrimp net. If you place a frozen cube in a glass and let it thaw you will see all the extra junk going into your water and bringing down your water quality. Take care

I don't feed them frozen brine more than once a week either.

Ok, I will go the opposite way...

I feel as if feeding frozen brine shrimp has the same protein quality as feeding frozen ice chips when it comes to Mbuna, therefore I pass.
My feeling is if you want to get some shrimp into their diet then feed them freeze dried krill on occasion.

My Acei,along with all my other fish see live brine maybe once a month as a treat. It seems they have fun chasing them down. As for a once a week treat peeled and blanched cucumber slices
