Exactly a week after getting them at the auction, 2 began to pair up. By the end of the 2nd week there were free swimming fry. :becky:

They are alone in a 30 gallon for now.

Theres a pretty good amount of fry, even though the female is about 2 inches.

Heres the vid:

Ryan -let Adam know they spawned. I told him the other day that you picked these wild Texas cichlids up at the auction.

Was this the ECC auction?

If you are selling any fry I am interested.

They were not on the pre-reg list as they were flown in on AUCTION MORNING by Davesfish.com.
Now if you got your lazy butt down to the auction you would have seen them.
You snoozed..and YOU LOST.

Thank you.
I went down and looked into the dempsey tank, and they ate almost all of them.
I took out the survivors, there are 10 left.
Hopefully they will spawn again soon.
