Our friend Alesia (Blondbombshell ooops I meant Blondefishgal) is planning on starting an all male ( figures huh????? ) peacock, hap & possibly victorian show tank. For all that she does for our site (and auction :beerchug::beerchug:) I thought it would be a kind gesture to offer her a good looking specimen(a show fish that is) (that we can spare without losing sleep) to get her started & say thank you.
Perhaps just ideas on what fish to put in to give it that "WOW" factor !!!!!!!! :ty::ty::ty:

I'd recommend Red finned borleyi. It's a decent sized fish and relatively peaceful, not to mention the myriad of peacocks available.
I have an extra 5" male Benga I could send her way It's from Mikes line (Spookyfish) Also I've got a 4" Ice burg Fryeri. Thought I would put those out their I'll have to ship them let me know.

Wow, thank you (honestly) for this kind gesture, but I am just gathering some information right now. I picked Tom’s brain up the ying yang the other night and he gave me some wonderful ideas and specific feedback. Ah...may have driven him a little crazy. I kept all those notes (THANKS AGAIN TOM).
Bill also gave me a few ideas, and mentioned a couple of people who were into some of the fish in which I had an interest. I reached out to a couple and asked about substrate, lighting, etc. So thanks again you guys for the thread and the offer, but I am not ready to set up the tank yet, still getting ideas, still making decisions.
Thanks again to all for ONCE AGAIN, showing me such kindness, and special thanks to Tom for not losing patience with me with all my questions!! :huga:
Artie, you are a doll for trying to help me out by starting this thread. Hmm, perhaps I will have to be a bit more gentle and smack you next time where the bruises don't show.
I’ll keep everyone posted as to my progress for when I take the big leap with my first African tank! :fish:
