Rock suppliers nyc

Hey,

I've been calling landscaping companies around my area (brooklyn) to see if they carry lace/lava/slate rocks... but none of them do. Right now I have some river rock, but been looking for a change.
Guess theres not enough ppl in Bk with gardens for landscaping companies

Has anyone have any luck picking up these rocks in bk/staten island/nyc in general?

I'm not sure you'll find lace rock at any landscape supplier. Lava rock is hit or miss. They all should have slate. I would check LI or even NJ. Pick some up on a trip when you get a chance.

I'll sugest on your next road trip to make a pit stop at the stone/landscaping supply closest to where you going. then you can pick up whatever they have

Lace rock, ALMOST NEVER. Lava rock, Big boulders ( which you can break up with a cold chisel)............ sometimes

Living in Brooklyn I would say check out places on Long Island or, if you do not mind going over two bridges, check out Clayton's in Bayonne.

You may want to check landscaping places out in Yonkers/Westchester. It would be a smooth drive up and I'm sure you will find what you need.
