There are still more pics out there and I believe some more will hit the site by the end of the week.
Thanks Tommy.

Voracious buggers aren't they?
I'm actually having second thoughts about keeping mine. I don't want to have to deal with adult peacocks/small haps constantly being hunted LOL!

Please, some people chipped in and took pictures to help out the site. How about THANKING them instead of asking for someone who is not part of this site to take pictures.
Get over it, Li is a very busy man who owns businesses and lives 4 hours away and is now in Asia.
The membership of this site should be thanked, not insulted as was done here.

I didn't meant to offend ANYBOBY!!!!!!!!!! I apreciate that members of this club posted pictures ( like I said before, I'm not the photographer type, but I reconize good work). I WAS referenring to the work that Li put in the CCA recent annual auction. Within a day he had pictures posted of just about everybody that attended that event. THAT'S DEDICATION, maybe I had my hopes too high that a member of OUR club could duplicated what Li did or suplanted it. In any event, THANKS to all that posted pictures of the auction, you did WAY better tham myself..............

Hey, nice work Fischkid13 (aka Joseph ..aka ECC's George Lucas) on those videos!
Too funny that on that first video (the pre-auction one) it seems that no matter what or where you were shooting, I could hear your dad's booming voice over everything in the background.
Your videos rock! :high5:

I am running out to get a $2000 camera.
Paul, please, for the benefit of our members, stop.
You have no idea what you are talking about.
CCA has no "annual auction", and you have no idea what you are talking about when you are talking about Li.

Enjoyed the pics and the Vids very much! I really enjoy being able to put more faces to the names. Some of you I think I'd recognize right away if we were to meet up.

Joseph,
You have a career in Hollywood waiting for you!
One of my fav things Joseph does in his videos is to make little comments of his own... He did it alot in the "Decemba to Rememba" ones and in one of the auction ones, Bill tells everyone to take their seats, and you hear Joseph say "I have no where to sit!"
Totally made me :becky:

ECC Fall '09 Auction was the first auction I have ever attended. This Spring 2010 auction was the second (not counting "mini" auctions).
Aside from the ACA auction in 2011, I don't think I will ever attend any other auction for cichlids!
Definitely the best auctions I've been to...
Great people, great hospitality, great fish, great food, and great venders...

Bill, I like when you post photos, you allways have a legend under or above the photo, which makes us know (put a face to the site handler's name)who's who in the site. Thanks

You never know.
We are EastCoastCichlids, and it would be great to bring our Dog and Pony show further South one day.
As a matter of fact someone brought this same subject up to me the other day.

I kinda like it where it is now but alternating both North and South would be great to get everyone involved in the ECC auction!

Seriously, though- I suspect the auction preparation makes it nearly impossible to take on the road. However, the growing membership should make it easier to plan field trips, etc for a wider geographic area. There's not much outside of lobsters in aquaria up here, but I'd love to see the Georgia Aquarium some day. Also, to those who haven't been, the National Aquarium in Baltimore is phenomenal!
