Here we go again. First i'm not writing this to receive more free fish offers from the generous members here. Disaster # 2. I'm getting better. Instead of losing 170 fish i've cut my losses 90%. Only 17 this time. Was leaving the house at 3:30 a.m. & figured i'd just turn on the basement light to make sure all the pumps were running. I thought i'd **** when I looked over to where my last catastrophe happened. No pumps running, thousands of trumpet horn snails on the glass & dead fish in one of my 75's. The circuit breaker popped again. Some nice flavus, afra jalo reef, labs, & a favorite. A beautiful proto. liuli (Wayne did you grow out a male from your spawn???????? ) I should have looked into this last week. I'm going to change the breaker for starters. I haven't added anything on this line in a very long time & hadn't had any problems before. hmmm I think i'll just move two heaters to another line & pray for the best. VERY FRUSTRATING but i'm learning to take it with all this practice !!!!!! :grhair::grhair::grhair:

Before replacing the fish, replace the breaker or better yet, add a new line on a new breaker. Otherwise I'm a gonna breaka you face.

How many filters and heaters do you have on one circuit?

I would try to split up your electrical load to at least two circuits along with replacing the breaker in question.
