Great fishroom! I guess the rifles are there to deter fish burglars from the fishroom. Like Bill said when is the fish tour? I haven't checked your profile but where are you located at?

I see now Spring Grove, PA. Maybe we should extend our Road Trip from TFP to make a stop at your house? Looks like you are about 30 minutes from there West past York, PA?

If there is time I welcome the group. The rifles are part of the misplaced and in flux. I am in the process of setting up a work area and small lab for disections, staining, and special projects. There is an eventual wall going up to close off the fishroom from the rest of the basement. I have a few 40 breeders '9' that are going to go up as growout. No matter what I am going to meet your group at Julies.

I doubt there will be time to see it this time around. Perhaps on our next PA road trip when TNT Cichlids is up and running.

Chris, the L134 breeder does it breed and do you have little ones? If yes I'll run over and give Ed money since you'll see him tomorrow.

I wish I saw this earlier or I would've called Chris before I left to check for you. Anyway it's too late now... I just got back after driving 3 and a half hours there and back...

By the way Chris your tanks are beautiful in person and it was nice meeting you...

Your discus and angel fish tanks in particular were fantastic!

Thank You! The room was a little messy as it is still in sort of a flux. How many people did it take to get the tank out of the van? If your pictures came out good I would like if you added them to this post. It was good to meet you too. Its nice to see a young fella who has MTS, Im sure your mom thought I was a nut job.

Oh shucks I almost forgot. The Red Discus "alenquer cuperia" spawned last night. You missed it by about two hours.

It just took me and my brother to get it out but it was extremely difficult. We had to use long wood boards to slide it out above the hatchback bump...and it proved to be difficult to lift the tank to the 40ft out of the car into the garage so we used tires and just kept sliding it over until we got it into the garage ontop of a blanket...

A few pictures of the discus came out good. I'll post them later when I get a chance.

Chris,
I told Eric nothing less than 40 times, he missed a FANTASTIC fish room. Seriously, your fish are impressive. The whole set up is impressive! Your twin tanks are something to see and appreciate. Every tank has something I want!
I know I won't be getting any SA cichlids from anyone but you. Unless we make the trip to SA next year! LOVE the pics!

Hey Regina!

Sorry I havent replied sooner. Barbatus has been keeping me busy :) I now have about 100 free swimmers. Nijsseni and Bitaeniata both spawned after I moved them from ugly tanks to main room tanks.

They are doing better than I expected. They seem to like colder water so they are a good match to be tanked with Barbatus. I am not sure what food they like the best but Ive seen them free swim for blood worms and bbs. I am also running a slightly higher pH for them and it makes water changes a pain as I have to titrate up hardness to keep the pH from swinging while still keeping some tannins in the water to make it dark. Other than that they are pretty low maintanance.

Chris what is the last pick of? It's not a chameleon is it?
