Hi guys, I have a O.lithobates male about 3 ins.He has a yellow spot right in the middle of his nose, which I presume is the start of that nice yellow blaze they get. However yesterday,I noticed another spot developing right where the top of his head meets his body(if you can picture this ) not even close to the other marking.i'm not sure if this is a wound or the way they are supposed to transform, any thoughts?

It could be a second pigment dot coming up.
What color is this second dot? Any pictures?

Thanks Ed,thats what I thought. It looks a little lighter colored than the other marking which is definitely yellow. He's not showing any signs of illness, swimming and eating well.Sorry, not set up for pics.I'll watch it closely.
