love the third picture, shows a nice natural aquascaped tank.....If I ever went back to breeding central and south american, geos would definitely be my choice....always was partial to steindachnari, balzani and a few others.

there is not much choice in geo,s ova here i would like some balzani but im pretty sure there not in oz yet and a few species that we do have a lot of them are miss labeled, a lot of people sell surimanensis but there not in oz yet and a lot of the altifron species are sold as variants that we dont have. :bandit:

Great fish.:a-okhand:
Geos were one of my first cichlids. I kept them with my Leopoldi and Motoro.

I had Steindachnari, Satanoperca, Suranamensis, and one other that's slipping me right now. Sorry about the spelling, it's been a while.

Nice looking set ups! I had a breeding pair of balzani years ago. They were great parents too and raised quite a bit of fry.

thanks guys ive only been keeping fish for about a year now and ive learned a lot is small amount of time thanks to the wiz and spud and others, i like to keep fish that are different to what everyone else has as there is only a few people keeping geos in my neck of the woods :partay: but i really like them especially the pearl scales that looks fantastic when they hit the light just right :a-okhand:
