I was fortunate to be able to add five Crenicichla multispinosa to my pike collection today. Here are some photos while acclimating. More to follow. I hope you enjoy!
Cheers,

Not enough to house what I have swimming around, that's for sure.

How did you come by them Brian?

Number of tanks... hehehe.... I keep asking my husband if he has to travel any time soon. I think he is terrified to do so knowing that there may be 'new additions' if he is not here to yell and prevent me from bringing anymore in.

Congrats on your latest additions!

These were imported for me by a friend. They are originally from Suriname. Thanks, I am happy to have them after a decade or so of waiting :D

Thanks, as adults they will look very similar. At 7-8 inches, like these are, they are a breedable size (I hope).

Why do I get the feeling that I'm going to be kicking myself for not jumping on these while I could?? That face is simply exquisite!! For as beautiful as they are now I'd imagine that they will only get better as they mature. What incredible fish!

Keep us posted and take lots of pics!!

PS If you decide to unload a pair let me know. I'd be more than happy to accommodate you by taking them off your hands!! They would look fantastic in the 180 next to my desk in the office!

Round Two on the C. multispinosa.............don't ask about round one. This new group is a whole different animal. Much better condition and VERY HARDY this time around.
