Cynotilapia afra Nkhata Bay

Well, today I managed to pick up over a dozen F1 C. afra Nkhata Bay from a local breeder. I have them in a 20H right now as they topping out at 1". I can't wait to see these guys grow up and feed my Cynotilapia addiction.

Solid blue and goes thru a few color changes?

No, I think you are thinking of C. sp. hara Gallireya Reef - the females of them are usually a dull royal blue (at least mine are).

Whoops, I guess I was mistaken, sorry.

Almost all cyno femmes can color up like a subdom male at times (especially when holding). The Jalo Reef femmes can look quite impressive!

Here's a NB holding in a breeder box that's still floating in the tank--she's definitely letting everyone know NOT to &^%$ with her! LOL!

The other day Haplee gave me a group of Cynotilapia Nkhata Bay Yellow Blaze.
This is not my picture, rather a pic from someone on CF.
They are absolutely phenomenal.
Just need some more females.
