I have a 90 gallon tank. In this tank I have a pair of lethrinops that have spawned, 2 pairs of sunshine peacocks, and 3 pairs of jumbe leptosoma cyprichromis. The cyps are doing the act of courting. My question is , will the tankmate for my cyps stop them from spawning? I mean to say, is it crucial that I remove the peacocks and or lethrinops in order for the cyps to spawn?

If the cyps are already in the act I think you'll have your answer soon enough. The other question might be will a holding female be able to handle a slightly rough and tumble tank while holding, especially as she gets weaker say three weeks into holding . You'll have to watch closely. Often a female that has never been harassed will be harassed when holding. I've seen fish bite at their faces when they see the bulge from the eggs. Particularly Cyps.
