I'm so, so sorry Artie.
I can't imagine how terrible you must feel, I tried and almost cried.
My hatchery is open to you (it always has been if I never stated it before), except for my breeders, you can have whatever you like. I will be on the Island in a few days and would be more than happy to deliver!

I have Burundi fonts from 1"-2.5" I can put together a group of 12 for you.
If you rather Mpimbwe fronts, I should be able to hook you up in a couple of months.

I have beautiful Paracyprichromis nigripinnis , I could easily come up with 12 or more for you.

1.5"-2" Moorii, I have a lot of these, as many as you want.

Brevis colony.
Multi colony.
Anything else that I can't think of at the moment.
Again, I'm so sorry about you tragedy.

So sorry to hear that. I lost a bunch of fish in our "Ice storm". I did manage to save a group of Fosso rotratus. I have 5 from 4 to 7". You can have them all, or just a pair, if you want. I am going to Bristol CT on Jan 16 for the Aqualand auction. Let me know if you are going, and if you want them, and I will bring them with me. Try to have a good xmas.

Stang - I read about your fish kill on another site. Sorry to hear about that.
One thing we would like to do with this site is to help people such as you and Artie who have these fish room disasters. Hopefully we can be a conduit to other people who live near you who can help out.

Thank you Alishan- We do have alot of hobbiest in the central MA area, but there dosn't seem to be any good cichlid sites for are area. Maybe we could piggyback off this site or something like that. I am not the most technical guy so I wouldn't know how it works. But I do know alot of the people in this area and could get the word out for people to join? Just a thought, let me know some of yours. Sorry Artie didn't mean to hijack your thread.

Sorry for your loss...

Artie,

Sorry for your loss, Artie. :wail::wail: A few years back when there was a blackout in NYC for a couple of days I had a similar but much smaller scale wipeout. I then bought a bunch of battery operated air pumps that you plug in and they go on when the power goes out. I cannot say whether they can actually prevent a disaster because there hasn't been a blackout since then.

Artie,

I don't know if you subscribe to Aquarium Fish magazine, but the current issue (March 2009) has an article on what to do if there is a blackout. Just thought you might want to read it. Kind of like closing the barn door after all the animals have all left, though. I can send you a copy if you need it.
