I suspect that as this site grows- the geographic density of members outside of NY and NJ will cause a wider spread of events. Until then, folks like you and I get to sit out or drive obscenely long distances.

If it's any consolation, I get to drive four hours before I find a fish store that knows what a cichlid is.

When the site started in Nov '08 we had most of our members from NJ, Pa and NY. We have spread nicely into Connecticut, to the north, and Maryland and Virginia to the south. Word of mouth and clubs have made us and will make us expand even more. As a person who is never afraid to drive for a Road Trip I would go North or South to go visit a fish club.

You have to plan for the future, Jeremy! I live sorta far away also----but someday, I'm gonna have time to make a road trip up that way--& I'll already know all the cool people worth visiting :eclipsee_steering::beerchug:
