just got a very nice group of these fish(12)...is a sand substrate a must?i am not really concerned with breeding them...any info will help...thanks patrick

Good for you Pat. They would be perfect with the Dewindti. As far as I know they are mellow and hang around the rocks, like paracyps.

I know Julie doesn't have sand and hers breed prolifically. Very mellow fish that is very pretty. Good luck with them :)
