My goodness - does anybody keep Discus here?

I might after April. Discus Hans (Hans Koop) will be talking at our fish club in April and he will be bringing some Discus with him.

I keep one as a single ... Discus Hans :) His set up is about 25 min from me.... and he talks to our club on a regular basis.

I'm your gal! (Well, sorta... I JUST got out of them a couple of months ago after having them for 8 years straight). Had three breeding pairs, and at my max, about 40 or so adults. They were my first fish I ever bought. LOL not normal, I know. They are sill a big passion of mine.

Hans has beautiful, excellent stock and he is a fun guy to boot! I bet you go home with some of his fish! If you do, buy a minimum of three. They like to shoal and if you only buy two, the more aggressive one will pick on the smaller one all the time. Three prevents that. Plus, if you buy a few, they will feel more secure and adjust to their new surroundings better/faster.

I would even say start with a group of 6. You will do a lot better with them.

We (Joanne & I) will bring a "few" as donation to the club to cover the cost to bring us in :eclipsee_steering: Discus and other goodies that will be auctioned after the talk.
