Pete - what species are these?

These are the ones people usually call Hystrix - but they're from Brazil not Argentina so they're not the rays originally given that name. It's just easiest to call them Hystrix as that's what most people know them by.

So that's what those were.... When you showed the back to me the temperature difference out in Phillipsburg was insane the bag fogged up I could barely make out the shape of the ray!


Anyway nice rays! And it was great meeting you as well as Jeff Rapps.

That Datnioid I got from him is awesome... INSANELY healthy, fits in the tank perfectly doesn't bother anybody and eats frozen shrimps like a pig (he ate a flake by accident the other day and spit it out immediately LOL. He's going to take a while to train to accept prepared foods).
