kens fish flakes

recently got some tropheus lovers flake from kens...anyone like or dislike kens food..thanks..patrick:coz:

I use Kens food for 90% of my fish food.
I tend to custom blend several types together and have had good results.

I tried some of Ken's flakes with milk for breakfast. I really didn't care for them, but my fish do. LOL! He has a good variety of foods at decent prices.

I use the veggie flake and some fish like it and some shy away. I don't think it's because it's Ken's, I think it's because of the high veggie content.

I used kens flake for a while and the fish started to shy away from it after a while. Think they might have got tired of it. I now use hbh veggie and hbh color flake. I don't think kens is bad or anything they just preffer the hbh. I still order all my food from him. He is great to talk to and very prompt with his shipping. I will keep using him in the future.

I use the Tropheus flakes and the Tropical flakes...

I used the veggies flakes one time... my fish HATED it.

I just started using the one with garlic in it because he recommended it for wild fish just off the boat... they seem to like it :)

I order my food from him also last order he through in a free bag of angel an discus Flake I don't need it if anyone wants it I'll bring it to Atlantis and give it to you let me Know.

I have been using Kens Fish food for ..... lets see ... about 25 years....
when his product sheet was less than a half page...
Most of my foods, aquarium supplies, etc come from Ken.
Easy to work with, prompt shipments and the prices are
among the cheapest in the whole USA.
Just compare his prices to the web...
Who else could sell almost a whole trailer load of supply at the OCA each year.

His food is fresh because he keeps it in a cool environment and the turnover(sales) is fast
so he does not have food laying around to be sold. Also some of his foods are vacuumed sealed.

And PAPA JOHN ain't too bad either...(Inside Joke) ....

I have been using his foods for a number of years. I use:

Earthworm sticks, flakes and FD whole worms.
FD blood worms, brine shrimp, tubifex, fw shrimp and daphnia.
OO growth.
Veggie Flake and sticks.
Spirulina Flake w/ garlic and spirulina sticks.
Color Bits.

I also get a few brand name foods from him as well as hard goods like heaters, power heads, AquaClear filters, thermometers etc.
