I just pulled a 1.25 inch ruby green female that was holding . This is her second spawn so I dropped her in a 20 long fry tank . The first time around she only had two wigglers in there and one died in the egg tumbler , they were so small it got caught in the netting .
This time I just netted her and dropped her in the 20 long . When I dumped her in I noticed she had spit out one of the fry , fully formed and still had a few in there !
So I guess I'll have a few fry swimming around in no time !
Being new to vics [only 3 months ] I still cant believe they breed at such a small size ! But I'll have to start because these are the second variety of Victorian "fry" to breed for me . lol :hat:
