Does freezing weather suspend or kill MTS?

Most malaysian trumpet snails cannot survive freezing temperatures.

Multiple Tank Syndrome is unaffected by most conventional treatments. Winter may slow the progression as sufferers find ice detrimental to carrying large tanks, but cold temperatures provide only temporary relief of the symptoms.

Effective treatments are marriage, moving into an efficiency apartment, and severe, multi-tank cases of bloat.

tris- you crack me up...

Seriously, is this MTS for multiple tank syndrome or Mal. trumpet snails?

I have tried freezing substrate in pails outside in the winter for months. Snails die as Joe said, but somehow their eggs survive to hatch another day.

Actually the amount of people who join the Michigan Theological Seminary increases during the Winter months.

I thought by default MTS stood for Malaysian Trumpet Snail.

Haven't heard bout the other MTS.

But thanks for the info.

Thanks Joe.
