i picked up four acei today.........one of them started swimming on his side tonight.......he then started to float around listlessly........and his anus looked really pink......i think it could be a parasite, what do you think it sounds like?......i got him setup in a hospital tank and he is at least swimming right side up for now...........
i also checked all the water parameters and they were fine.......

I think that I would have the Acei in a separate tank form the rest of the fish.
Add salt to the tank that they are in.

i think im gonna just put him down soon......he looks really bad.......he just floats upside down on the bottom..........i think it might just be from a beating.......his fins look ragged and they have pink stuff on them......

i havent updated in few days...she actually ended up taking a turn for the better.............she is swimming freely, has unclamped fins, is eating, etc.........tomorrow will make 7 days of treatment (Mela/Pima, 50% daily w/c's, and epsom).......after tomorrow im gonna stop the mela/pima and just continue the epsom and daily w/c's for a few more days and they try putting her back in the main tank...........
any other suggestions are welcome.......
Thanks,
Robb

That was a miraculous comeback, to say the least.

Nice job, a fish recovering from that point doesnt happen very often.

I agree.
Great job getting her to recover from that point.
When they get like that they usually die.
I would just continue to do heavy water changes for a week or so and add regular table salt w/o iodine in the main tank where they all are.
Good luck

might want to keep the main tank covered for a few days as drakness will help her ajust back to the group with not getting her ass kicked again
