Hi,
After trading a bunch of fish for four tanks from AMBUSHPREDATOR, one of them being a 75g, I am considering making that a tanganyikan setup in a few months when I decide where to set up the tank, etc.

I've been thinking of either a featherfin and cyp setup, a sand dweller and cyp set up, or a tropheus set up (only dubs or whatever is the cheapest).

I am leaning a lot more towards the featherfin or sand dweller set up.

With featherfins, I was thinking O. ventralis or O. nasuta with cyps.

With sanddwellers, I was thinking Enantiopus sp. and cyps with maybe some shellies if they would get a long.

If I do Tropheus, I'd only do dubs since I have no experience with them and dubs are the least expensive...

I'm all open to any suggestions.

My only experience with the Tangs mentioned are with Nasuta (Disaster) and Trophs. I have had a lot of success with T's. My advice is if you go with T's to buy them from either Aqualung (Joey) or Atlantis.

I have Nasuta and microlepidotus Kigoma together "No Problem" I also have had the Micros with O Boops and the same.

I have Cyp Mototo with Kilesa "No Problem" Cyps are juvis (2.5")

I have Specklebacks and Furcifer Kabogo and E. Melanogenys Together and so far so good

I am also keeping X Ocherogenys and paracyp Brieni kitumba

If you can't tell, I like these three types of Tanganyikan's :jump::rotate:

What do you mean with the "No Problem"...as in no problems yet or they could be kept without any problems?

I've kept many different types of tanganyikans in 75 gallon tanks and smaller. I currently house a breeding pair of frontosa (10" and 6"), juvenile frontosa, paracyprichromis nigripinnis, and julidochromis dickfeldi in a 75. Tropheus would also do fine in a 75 gallon tank. Much of setting up a mixed tanganyikan tank depends on layout and using fish that inhabit different levels of the tank. Good luck.

Any thoughts on stocking quantities?

How fast do all the species I mentioned grow?

And they're all carnivores or omnivores right?
