Rhamphochromis slender?

I have a chance to buy some of these. Anybody know anything about them? I've read a lot on the Rhamphochromis macrophthalmus, but I can't find a thing on the slender. Anyone have any experience, or info?

Slender is probably a trade name.

I can't help you with finding out what they are unless you buy them and grow them out and get a male to color up.

That isn't valid, at least not anymore. In both of Ad Konings books they are not mentioned and they are not on cichlidae.com's list.

In fact when I googled it the only results came up was Cichlid Forum's list and other forums that copied and pasted the same list. No pictures came up either.

If you are to get them we really can't identify them until you get them grown up to adult size.

Anyway they should be very similar to what you read about R. macropthalmus.
