This months program is "Why I go to fish conventions - and you should too!" by Pat Kelly

Patrick Kelly is from Forest Hill Maryland where he lives with his wife, youngest son, 3 cats and 53 tanks of fish. Over the years he has gotten in and out of the hobby several times. Each time he gets back in, his hobby gets bigger so his wife will not let him get out again. Pat is a member of the Aquarium Club of Lancaster County, The New England Cichlid Association, The Greater Washington Aquatic Plant Association, The Potomac Valley Aquarium Society, The American Cichlid Association, and he is the President of the Capital Cichlid Association. Over the last 6 or 7 years he and his wife have managed to attend a good number of fish conventions and his talk will be about the why. Why he goes. Why his wife goes. And why you should too.

The meeting is on Tuesday, January 20th at 7:30 PM - For more information or directions go to http://www.aclc.us

Kurt, thank you very much for the announcement.
For those who do not know Pat Kelly, he is the person we all have to thank for the beautiful picture of the Aulonocara that graces our Logo.
Pat is also instrumental in another project that EastCoastCichlids is working on.

Just wanted to remind everyone that this is just 8 days away. After watching all that boring inauguration stuff, come visit Lancaster and listen to Pat. After all he is now a member of the ACA Board! :partay:

Then after we torture Pat with an acceptable amount of heckeling there is the auction. You can't forget that. I'm going to be bringing a few things for this month and I'm sure there will be more. Pat might even bring some of those fish of his.
