When I am in the Forum and click on the Home tab just below "East" I don't see the Arcade link. I never leave the forum page. If I go to the address bar and remove the "forums." before eastcoastcichlids.... and click refresh, then I see it.

I used to love a game I got free and used it on Windows 3.1. Now I can't remember its name. It was a Russian game, you had to shoot asteroids? out of a star field. You "shot" by bouncing off the sides into the path of the target. A lot of mental trajectory calculating. When they exploded, you could see the shadow of one of the asteroids in the explosion debris....I just remembered the name-"Shadows". I played using the up and down arrows. I remember different levels would give you invisible targets, increase speeds, change colors....

I have found out how to remedy the glitch in Pacman. When playing Pacman choose "open new window"...this will keep you connected to the site.
Maybe in the no-so-distant future we will have tournaments.

When I play pacman I don't get an "open new window" option. If I click on pacman it just goes straight to the game and gives me either the option of "play" or "high scores". Then whenever I get over 10,000 as a score it logs me out and I get that V bulletin message saying my score was not submitted?

Ok, I saw what you suggested (on the up side you get a full screen), but it still logged me out when my score was over 10,000. I even had 67,000+ today, but it did'nt save it?

I think at this point I'd actually get something like 400 quarters. :) No, what's really annoying is how it logs me out, so if I want to play again I have to log back in each time. Any idea why it does that?

Tamara, it could be an issue with your connection or if you are using IE7.
Does it happen with every game, because no one else is coming up with this issue?

No, that's the really weird thing is it's only with pacman. I can play Tetris til my fingers fall off, and Dave play's games without any problems to.

I see that Pacman must be working...foamerdave has the high score.

Although I have no idea how they work, there are Tournaments that can be set. Right now we have two tournaments that are waiting for more players.

Complaint: Wheel of Fortune!
For three diiferent games I have had "The Heart of of Rock and Roll - Heuy Lewis" and have had over 600,000 points for that one round and on the very last letter it hit's bankrupt everytime! It's not just a coincidence. Plus I save different letters for the last letter all three times and still hits bankrupt.
Not that it matters (Except I would be in first) I am just wondering if it happens to others only with this puzzle.

I got well over a mil 3-4 diff times and after the last letter was made it kept asking me to pick a letter. So it basically locked up. Also i get a LOT of bankrupts on the last letter also. Also why does it say the least amt of throws wins in darts when i got all done in 53 moves but the winning scores over 200 moves?

I have, as owner of this site, a small complaint (ok, I think this might be my first...LOL). We, Tom, Ed and I, are trying to build a website/club that gets people involved and helps build the fish community. I put the arcade here because I wanted to keep all of us together and have some fun when we are not talking fish.

How are youy getting such high scores in darts. How many did you finish it in to get that score. I finished in less than 20 darts and only got a 59.

Yep, i agree. Took me a few days to fig it out, how 200+ beats 35 etc. Now if i can get that damn bankrupt to sit down i might get a better score. :bandit:

just saw it myself...tested. the game is broken. just did it first with very few darts and no score...so i blindly threw them and eventually finished with a new high...oh well.
