I am planning on it if it's baby friendly... I will have to bring my little one; my wife is on call all day and night Sunday.

Hey All,
I'll have some used wet/dry filters, a fluidized bed and probably some sponge filters and box filters for sale at the open house. I might have an ro available, too, but haven't made a final decision on that one yet.

Hey All,
I've decided to go ahead and sell my ro unit so it will be available tomorrow, along with filters (wet/dry, box and sponge), heaters, salt mix and a variety of food and supplies. Plus, of course, fish and plants. I hope to see many of you!

Thanks to Mark for another great spread.
I think I managed about 4 hogs in parkas and a semi large piece of Bill's wife's NY style Cheesecake. Please don't tell my cardiologist........
I picked up a group of wild rainbowfish to use as dithers. Bill is exploring his inner New World self with a group of metae cories and two pair of wild rams.
Greenhacker, emartin, Buckcich and S10Jimmy also dropped by.
Hopefully we'll get a larger turn out next time. We're working on a PA road trip for next year to visit That Fish Place and a bunch of our sponsors.

Ok first, Tom the cheesecake is NOT NY Style...LOL.
Mark, as usual thanks...you and your wife are wonderful hosts.
I brought home Wild Caught Rams, Cories Metae and Olga (I will be corrected and told the scientific name), a few short hair grasses (I hate being pulled by those) and some huge new box filters.
The best part about Mark and his fishroom is that when I leave I always expand myself (physically as well) and the fish I keep.
If I had the space (don't we all say that) there were a group of Mouthbrooding Pikes that I would have bought.

Thanks Tom.
Here is the fish.
Pretty neat and Mark has a few available.
They're a mouthbrooder.

I think this is one of the coolest fish in the hobby. It's essentially a piscivorous gourami. They're a rather primitive gourami and are, as Bill mentioned, mouthbrooders. In anabantoids, the males carry the eggs and fry. They are not sexable (of course, the one with the mouthful of eggs is the male). Pikeheads are obligate piscivores. I've never been able to get one to take prepared foods. They are a great disposal for unwanted/deformed fry.
