so how does it work? We place our order then where will the fish be shipped? Direct to us?

Tony, the fish will be flown to an airport...in your case it would be flown to Philly airport. Someone will pick up the fish and you will meet that person somewhere that day.

Last time we did this there were fish flown to Philly where I picked them up. I had some people meet me at Philly Airport, some meet me at a Rest Stop on the NJTP and some at a Rest Stop on the GSP.

What is great about this is Doug gives us a discount on great fish and then we all save again as we split the shipping charge.

One more thing... Since there are two shipments coming from Dougs he has been so kind as to pick up the cost of one shipment. :hippie: So, the shipping charges will be divided up between the southern shipment and the north shipment. Last time ECC did this, the shipping ended up being 5 dollars each. Really inexpensive :becky:

Right now it's Philly and Baltimore.
Our last group buy only had one person from the NYC area that was interested.
If there is interest in the NYC/LI area then we will talk to Doug about a 3rd airport...I guess it would be to MacArthur.
Personally I cannot see how people, especially Tang people, could pass up on the deals that Doug is offering.

The last group buy that we had was about $5 per person for shipping!!!

I would say that ordering as early as possible will make sure that you get the fish that you are looking for. Doug is a great guy to deal with...just make sure that you tell him you are part of the ECC Group Buy, and which airport you would like the fish shipped to.
Right now we are getting orders shipped to Philly and Baltimore. I live in NJ and I can be flexible about where I travel

Also, Dougs price list said he had only 5 Cyprichromis Mamelesa, so I took those too. When I got them though, he added a few extras he must not have counted, but didn't want to leave alone, so I ended up with a few extra to add to the colony I bought from him back in August. He's such a great guy, and a real class act. Thanks Doug!
